Who it’s best for

  • Parents of K-12 kids who need steady math help.
  • Families who want live one-on-one classes, not just an app.
  • Kids preparing for school math tests.

Who should skip it

  • Probably not the best fit if you only want a free practice app.

How it works day to day

What it costs

Prices checked October 30, 2026, from CueMath’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • 6-month plan: 52 classes for $884 (about $17 a class after a 10% discount), plus a $90 coaching fee billed every 26 weeks (checked October 30, 2026).
  • 12-month plan: 104 classes for $1,560 (about $15 a class after a 20% discount), plus a $120 coaching fee billed every 52 weeks.
  • The list rate before discounts is about $18.80 a class.

What we like

  • Live tutors rather than only videos.
  • Lower per-class price on longer plans.
  • Thousands of mostly positive customer reviews.

What to watch for

  • Plans are long commitments (26 or 52 weeks).
  • A coaching fee is billed each cycle on top of the class price.
  • Trustpilot showed 4.9 out of 5 from about 12,276 reviews as of October 30, 2026.

The fine print

  • Refund requests must reach Cuemath at least 15 days before your refund window closes; the window runs 12 months from the invoice date.
  • Read the plan length and fees on the checkout page before paying.

The main alternative: Varsity Tutors

Varsity Tutors offers live tutoring in many subjects, not just math, with more flexible session buying.

What it costs: Varies by item

Pick CueMathChecked by Vetteroo if you…

  • want a math-only program with one tutor.
  • are fine with a 6- or 12-month plan.

Pick Varsity Tutors if you…

  • need several subjects.
  • want to buy sessions without a long plan.

Our take

Cuemath is a strong pick for steady one-on-one math tutoring, with one of the largest positive review samples we have seen, but you commit to long plans and an extra coaching fee.
