Who it’s best for

• Small businesses that print checks from QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Offices that want high-security checks.
• People reordering checks their bank already uses.

Who should skip it

• Probably not the best fit for anyone who just wants the cheapest checks.

What it costs

Prices checked October 31, 2026, from Deluxe’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

• Deluxe does not publish a price list. Check prices show only after you pick a product, quantity and options, and its payroll, payments and marketing services are quote-only. Outside reviews priced 100 laser business checks at about $182 to $192 and 500 at about $359, several times what some rivals charge (checked October 30, 2026).
• Its 100% satisfaction guarantee offers a reprint, replacement, credit or refund (including shipping) with no time limit except 90 days on software; its terms say the guarantee does not cover shipping claims.

What we like

• Long-established check printer.
• Satisfaction guarantee with no time limit (except software).
• Checks for many accounting programs.
• Trustpilot 4.0 from about 11,300 reviews.

What to watch for

• No published price list; prices are shown only per order or by quote.
• Much more expensive than many rivals in outside price checks.
• Add-ons like fraud protection can be preselected in the cart.
• Some reviews report slow orders and printing errors.

The fine print

• Check the quantity and remove any add-ons you do not want before paying.
• Compare a quote with a cheaper check printer first.

The main alternative: Vistaprint

Vistaprint also prints business checks and other print products.

What it costs: Varies by product

Pick Deluxe if you…

• want high-security checks.
• want software-compatible checks.
• want a no-time-limit guarantee.

Pick Vistaprint if you…

• want lower prices.
• want a design tool.
• want other print marketing.

Our take

Deluxe is a long-established check printer with a strong guarantee, but it publishes no price list and outside checks found it far pricier than rivals, so get a price on your exact order and compare before you buy.
