What it costs

Prices checked October 30, 2026, from Grid Studio’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

• Sale prices on its site: GRID 4 (iPhone 4) $99 (listed at $169), Game Boy Color $149 ($249), GRID 1 original iPhone $299 ($699), Game Boy Advance SP $239 ($269) (checked October 30, 2026). Prices are in US dollars; a 10% first-order code is offered for joining its email list.
• Its refund, shipping, FAQ and terms pages were all blank when we checked, so there is no posted return window, shipping time or warranty.

What we like

• Real devices, taken apart and labeled part by part.
• Natural wood frames and gift packaging.
• Trustpilot shows 4.6 from 163 reviews.
• Wide range: iPhones, iPods, Game Boys, controllers.

What to watch for

• No posted refund or shipping policy (pages were blank, checked October 30, 2026).
• Ships from Shenzhen, China; some buyers waited weeks.
• Some buyers say payment went to a differently named vendor.
• Most Trustpilot reviews are from 2021 and 2022.

The fine print

• Ask support@gridstudio.cc in writing about returns and delivery time before you order, and keep the reply.
• Pay by credit card or PayPal so you have purchase protection if the order goes wrong.
• The parts are real used devices and do not work; the battery in the frame is a safe replica, per hands-on reviews by 9to5Mac and SlashGear.
• Earlier hands-on reviews noted shipping was charged on top of the frame price, so check the total at checkout.

The main alternative: Etsy sellers of framed vintage tech

Etsy has many small sellers of framed vintage phones and consoles, each with its own posted return policy.

What it costs: Varies by seller (etsy.com, checked October 30, 2026)

Our take

Grid Studio makes striking framed-gadget art with good customer reviews, but it posts no refund or shipping policy, so confirm returns by email first and pay with protection.
