What it is

Corporate cards and spend software for businesses: expense tracking, bill pay, invoicing, travel booking, accounting sync and a business checking account

How it works

Hand out cards with spending limits, staff text a photo of each receipt, Ramp matches it to the charge, and the expense syncs to your accounting software.

Seen on Ramp’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read November 2, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Ramp ourselves.

What it costs

Free; Plus $15/user/mo, checked November 2, 2026

Prices checked November 2, 2026, from Ramp’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • Free: $0 per user a month, with unlimited cards, expense tracking, bill pay, invoicing and QuickBooks Online or Xero sync.
  • Plus: $15 per user a month plus a platform fee based on team size; 20% off with yearly billing; adds AI expense reviews, more accounting integrations and multi-entity support. Free 30-day trial.
  • Enterprise: custom price, billed yearly.
  • Federal 1099 filings cost $0.65 each; state filing is free (official site, checked November 1, 2026).

What we like

  • The Free plan includes unlimited physical and virtual cards.
  • No personal guarantee required, by its own account.
  • Receipts can be submitted by text or Slack and matched automatically.
  • Syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero on the Free plan.

What to watch out for

  • Strict eligibility: no sole proprietors, and at least $25,000 in a linked business bank account.
  • Plus adds a platform fee on top of the per-user price, and that fee is not listed.
  • Needs a business email address and a linked bank account to apply.

The fine print

  • Your card limit is set from the cash in your linked bank accounts or from your revenue.
  • Ramp is a financial technology company, not a bank; its cards are issued by partner banks such as Celtic Bank and Sutton Bank.
  • You can pay for Plus by ACH or with card rewards.
  • Prices are in USD.
  • Legitimacy signals we found: published pricing, partner-bank disclosures, a public help center, and its claim of 85,000+ finance teams as customers.

Who it’s best for

Registered U.S. companies that want cards plus expense and bill-pay software.

  • Corporations, LLCs and LPs in the U.S. (or Canada) that want company cards and expense software in one place.
  • Finance teams that want receipts, approvals and accounting sync automated.

Who should skip it

  • Not for sole proprietors, side businesses, or companies with less than $25,000 in the bank.

The main alternative
