What it costs
Prices checked October 30, 2026, from TerraMaster’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- D6-320 DAS $269.99; F2-425 Plus NAS $399.49; F4 SSD NAS $424.99; U8-423 $824.99; T12-423 $979.99 (checked October 30, 2026).
- The official store focuses on warranty repair or replacement for defects (24-month limited warranty; you pay shipping to them); we did not find a change-of-mind return window.
What we like
- Low prices.
- Lots of bays.
- Can run other NAS OSes.
- 2-year warranty.
What to watch for
- Trustpilot showed 2.2 out of 5 as of October 30, 2026, a weak score we disclose; read recent reviews before you buy.
- No clear change-of-mind returns.
- You pay warranty shipping.
- Software less polished.
The fine print
- Buy from a retailer with easy returns if unsure.
- Keep backups; RAID is not a backup.
The main alternative: Synology
Synology makes NAS with polished software.

Our take
TerraMaster hardware is cheap, but its weak Trustpilot score and unclear returns call for care.
