What it costs

Prices checked October 31, 2026, from TheBerkey.com’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

• Big Berkey (2.25 gal) $367 (listed down from $405); Travel Berkey $327; Royal $408; Imperial $451; Crown $478 (checked October 31, 2026).
• Berkey Phoenix replacement elements $120 a pair; PF-2 fluoride filters $103 a pair; free shipping on systems in the contiguous US.
• No change-of-mind returns; report damaged or missing items within 10 business days and wrong or defective items within 30 days, per its refund policy.

What we like

• No power or plumbing needed.
• Stainless steel systems in five sizes.
• Free shipping on systems.
• Authorized Berkey dealer since 2016.

What to watch for

• EPA stop-sale order on Black Berkey elements.
• No change-of-mind returns.
• Black Berkey replacement elements sold out.
• Poor Trustpilot scores for Berkey dealer sites.

The fine print

• Check which filter elements ship with the system you buy; new systems ship with Black Berkey elements only while supplies last.
• Refused or undeliverable orders may carry a 20% handling fee.
• This review makes no health claims; read the product's own test reports and certifications before you buy.
• Legitimacy signals we found: TheBerkey.com is run by EverCreative LLC in Orlando, Florida; it lists a toll-free phone number and street address, publishes its return terms and filter test reports, and says it has been an authorized Berkey dealer since 2016.

Our take

TheBerkey.com sells genuine Berkey systems at fair prices, but the EPA stop-sale order on Black Berkey elements and its no change-of-mind return rule are real drawbacks, so check which filter you will get before you buy.
