What we like
- Free plan with no card to test it.
- Turns a prompt, script, blog URL or audio into an edited short with voice, captions and music.
- Includes the latest generative video models plus stock footage, avatars and voice cloning on higher plans.
- Trustpilot shows 4.4 out of 5 from 298 reviews (checked October 31, 2026).
What to watch for
- Refund wording conflicts: the pricing page offers a 7-day refund if you have not downloaded a video, but its terms and help center say no refunds once you pay.
- Some Trustpilot reviewers report slow support and an annual renewal at a higher price they did not expect.
- Only 11 Trustpilot reviews came in the last 12 months, so the high score leans on older reviews.
- Plan pages on its site do not all show the same limits, so check the current plan before paying.
The fine print
- Subscriptions renew automatically; cancel from the billing page, and access runs to the end of the paid period.
- No refunds for partial months.
- Liability is capped at the lesser of $100 or your last 12 months of fees; terms follow German law.
- Videos made on a paid plan keep their commercial license after you cancel, per its help center.
- Legitimacy signals we found: its terms name Zebracat AI, c/o Merantix AI Campus, Berlin; the German company register lists Zebracat AI UG under HRB 233288 B (Charlottenburg); its co-founders are Michael Baumgartner (CEO) and Reza Zolf (CTO); Dealroom lists a January 2023 seed round from Entrepreneurs First; its Trustpilot profile is claimed.

Our take
Zebracat is a well-reviewed, easy way to turn text into social shorts, worth trying on its free plan; read the refund terms closely and set a renewal reminder, because its own pages disagree about refunds.
