  • People who need Photoshop file compatibility.

Who should skip it

  • Probably not the best fit if you hate subscriptions.

What it costs

Prices checked October 29, 2026, from Adobe’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • Photography plan 20GB $9.99 a month; Photography 1TB $19.99 a month (annual plan billed monthly, checked October 29, 2026).
  • Other Creative Cloud plans priced separately.

What we like

  • Industry-standard Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Low monthly price on the Photography plan.
  • Cloud sync across devices.

What to watch for

  • Settlement note: in 2026 Adobe settled a DOJ/FTC case over cancellation fees and disclosures (order entered April 10, 2026: $75 million civil penalty plus $75 million in free services) and must now clearly disclose the early-termination fee and offer easy cancellation.
  • Cancelling an annual plan billed monthly after 14 days costs 50% of the remaining balance.
  • Trustpilot showed 1.2 out of 5 from about 7,567 reviews as of October 29, 2026, a very low score.

The fine print

  • You get a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Annual plans billed monthly carry an early-termination fee.
  • Prices can change at renewal.

Our take

Adobe's Photography plan is still the standard for photo editing at a low monthly price; read the cancellation terms, now clearer after its 2026 settlement.
