We researched AWeber's official pricing, plan terms, product pages and help documentation. We haven't used AWeber ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.

Who it’s best for

  • Small businesses that want a long-established email tool with templates and simple automations.
  • Bloggers and podcasters who want RSS-to-email so new posts go out automatically.
  • People who would like help moving their list, since AWeber offers free migration.

Who should skip it

  • Probably not the best fit if you want a big free plan or advanced CRM-style automation.

How it works day to day

This part draws on AWeber’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used AWeber ourselves.

Day to day, you build emails in a drag-and-drop editor or from templates, send broadcasts to your list or segments, and set up automations such as a welcome series. RSS-to-email can turn new blog posts into newsletters without extra work.

Key features in use

  • Drag-and-drop email editor with templates.
  • Automations for welcome series, tagging and follow-ups.
  • Landing pages and sign-up forms.
  • RSS-to-email for blogs and podcasts.
  • An AI subject-line assistant and AMP emails.

Setup and learning curve

You sign up for the 14-day trial, import contacts (or ask AWeber to migrate them for free), add a sign-up form and send your first email. Domain authentication is set up in account settings.

Integrations

AWeber connects with Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and PayPal, among others, and lists more on its integrations page.

Support

AWeber offers 24/7 support, with priority support on Plus, plus a help center with guides.

Real-world use cases

  • A blogger sends each new post automatically with RSS-to-email.
  • A local shop runs a welcome series for new sign-ups.
  • A coach sells a small digital product with AWeber ecommerce.

Our take

AWeber is a dependable, easy email tool with a 14-day trial, free migration and useful extras like RSS-to-email. Lite is tight on lists and automations, so most growing lists will want Plus. If you want a free plan to start, look at MailerLite.
