Who it’s best for

New parents who want one sleeper from newborn to toddler.
Families who want a camera and auto-bounce in the crib.
People who can keep the original box for a possible return.

Who should skip it

Probably not the best fit on a tight budget.

How it works day to day

This part draws on Cradlewise’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 29, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Cradlewise ourselves.

What it costs

Prices checked October 29, 2026, from Cradlewise’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

Smart Crib $1,499 to $1,799 on its store (regular $1,999); the site said prices rise November 1 (checked October 29, 2026).
CradlewiseProtect 2-year extended warranty $129.

What we like

Converts from bassinet to full crib, so it replaces two purchases.
60-night trial from first use (or 120 days after delivery, whichever comes first).
Built-in camera and responsive bounce.
Optional 2-year warranty extension.

What to watch for

Expensive: $1,499 or more.
Returns cost $90, and you need the original box (a replacement box is $120).
Trustpilot showed 3.2 out of 5 from 1 review as of October 29, 2026, a single review on an unclaimed profile, so it tells you very little.
Cancelling before it ships costs $50 to $75.

The fine print

Standard warranty is 1 year.
Trial clock starts at first use or 120 days after delivery, whichever is first.
No smart sleeper replaces safe-sleep practices; follow AAP safe-sleep guidance.
We found no CPSC recall as of October 29, 2026.

The main alternative: Happiest Baby SNOO

It is a bassinet only, not a crib.

What it costs: Rental $159/mo, checked October 29, 2026

Cradlewise is a premium bassinet-to-crib with a real trial, but it costs a lot and returns carry a $90 fee, so be sure before you open the box.
