Who it’s best for

  • Freelancers and small teams sending contracts.
  • People who already store files in Dropbox or Google Drive.
  • Signers who should not need an account.

Who should skip it

  • Probably not the best fit for anyone sending only a few documents a year.

What it costs

Prices checked October 31, 2026, from Dropbox Sign’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • Free plan with 3 signature requests a month; Essentials $15 a month billed yearly ($180); Standard from $25 per user a month billed yearly (2-user minimum, $600) (checked October 30, 2026).
  • 30-day free trial; its terms say subscription and overage fees are not refundable.

What we like

  • Clean signing flow with no signer account.
  • Unlimited requests on paid plans.
  • Free plan and 30-day trial.
  • Rated 4.7 on G2 and Capterra per outside reviews.

What to watch for

  • Trustpilot 1.5 from 33 (HelloSign page).
  • Intro coupons renew at full price.
  • Branding and bulk send start on Standard.
  • No refunds per its terms.

The fine print

  • Plans renew automatically; cancel before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.
  • E-signature rules vary for some documents (wills, some real-estate forms); check what your state allows.

Our take

Dropbox Sign is an easy, well-rated e-signature tool for weekly senders; the Trustpilot record is weak and there are no refunds, so start with the free plan or trial.
