- What it is

- Best for
- Instagram-first creators and small businesses who use hashtag research
- Price
- From £11 a month billed yearly
- Prices checked
- October 28, 2026
We researched Flick's official pricing, plan comparison and FAQ, plus independent coverage. We haven't used Flick ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- Instagram-first creators and small businesses who want hashtag research built into their scheduler.
- Social media managers who want Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn scheduling in one place.
- Small agencies handling up to about 20 client profiles.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you only need simple, low-cost scheduling. A cheaper general scheduler will do.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Flick’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 28, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Flick ourselves.
Day to day, you draft posts in Flick, pick hashtags from your saved collections or suggestions, schedule them on the calendar, then check how each hashtag and post performed on Instagram.
Key features in use
- Hashtag search with filters and competition metrics.
- Hashtag collections, suggestions, a randomizer and banned-hashtag auditing.
- Scheduling for Instagram posts and Reels, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Media library, best times to post, feed preview and draft posts.
- Instagram analytics for account, content and audience activity.
- AI help with captions and content ideas.
Setup and learning curve
You start a 7-day trial, connect your Instagram business or creator account through Instagram's official login, and add your other networks. Plan a week of real posts so the trial tells you something useful.
Integrations
Flick connects to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn for scheduling. Analytics and hashtag tracking are for Instagram.
Support
Flick lists a help center, an academy and support by email.
Real-world use cases
- A creator plans a week of Reels and checks which hashtag sets helped.
- A local shop schedules Instagram and Facebook posts together.
- A freelancer manages a few client profiles on the Pro plan.
What it costs
Prices checked October 28, 2026, from Flick’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Solo: £11 a month billed yearly. 4 social profiles, 1 user, 30 scheduled posts per profile a month, 30 tracked Instagram posts a month, some features.
- Pro: £24 a month billed yearly. 8 social profiles, 2 users, unlimited scheduling and Instagram post tracking, all features.
- Agency: £55 a month billed yearly. 20 social profiles, 5 users, unlimited scheduling and tracking, all features.
- Extra social profile £4 a month; extra user £8 a month (Pro and Agency). Yearly billing saves 20%.
- Prices are shown in British pounds and exclude tax. 7-day free trial on all plans; cancel anytime.
What we like
- Hashtag search, saved collections, suggestions and post-level hashtag tracking in the same tool as your scheduler.
- Schedules Instagram posts and Reels, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Connects through Instagram's official API and doesn't ask for your Instagram password, according to Flick.
- Solo is cheaper than many Instagram-focused planners.
- 7-day free trial on every plan, and you can cancel anytime.
What to watch for
- Prices are shown in British pounds, and tax is added on top.
- Solo caps you at 30 scheduled posts per profile and 30 tracked Instagram posts a month, and only some features are included.
- Analytics cover Instagram only.
- Its standout hashtag tools matter most if hashtags are still part of your Instagram plan. How much they help reach is debated, so treat the data as one input.
The fine print
- All prices are billed yearly at the rates shown; monthly billing costs about 20% more.
- If you don't cancel before the 7-day trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- Extra profiles cost £4 a month each. Extra users cost £8 a month and aren't available on Solo.
- Flick is run by a UK company (Flick.Tech LTD), so your bank may add a foreign transaction fee.
The main alternative: Later Reviewed by Vetteroo
Later is the better-known visual planner for Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. Later costs more to start than Flick's Solo plan, and it supports more networks, including YouTube, Pinterest and Threads.
What it costs: $18.75/mo billed yearly (Starter), checked October 26, 2026
Pick Flick Reviewed by Vetteroo if you…
- post mainly on Instagram and want hashtag research and tracking built in.
- want a lower starting price than most Instagram-focused planners.
- manage a handful of profiles across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Pick Later Reviewed by Vetteroo if you…
- want a visual feed planner plus Link in Bio.
- post to Pinterest, YouTube or Threads as well as Instagram.
- prefer US-dollar pricing and a 14-day trial.
Our take
Flick is a focused, fairly priced tool for people who still treat Instagram hashtags as part of their growth plan. You get scheduling for four networks plus hashtag research and tracking that general schedulers don't offer. If you mainly want a visual planner across more networks, Later is the stronger pick. If you just need cheap scheduling, a general tool will cost less.
