We researched GetResponse's official pricing, plan terms, product pages and help documentation. We haven't used GetResponse ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.

Who it’s best for

  • Small businesses that want email, automation, landing pages and webinars in one tool.
  • Creators who want courses and webinars alongside email (Creator plan).
  • Teams that want AI help writing emails and campaigns.

Who should skip it

  • Less suited if you want the cheapest plan for a large but rarely emailed list.

How it works day to day

This part draws on GetResponse’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used GetResponse ourselves.

You create emails in a drag-and-drop editor, choose a list or segment and send, or let autoresponders and workflows send based on actions. Landing pages, sign-up forms and pop-ups collect new contacts. On Creator, you also run webinars and courses from the same account.

Key features in use

  • Drag-and-drop email creator and templates.
  • Visual automation builder with web event triggers.
  • AI email, subject line and campaign generators.
  • Perfect Timing and Time Travel send-time tools.
  • Webinars, website builder and course creator (Creator).

Setup and learning curve

Sign up for a Free account and use the 14-day trial to test premium tools. The AI campaign generator can create a landing page, welcome email and newsletter to start from.

Integrations

GetResponse lists integrations with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, plus Zapier and an API.

Support

GetResponse offers a help center, and its FAQ walks through trial and billing questions. Check the plan table for the support level on each plan.

Real-world use cases

  • A coach collects sign-ups with a landing page and follows up with a webinar invite.
  • A store sends abandoned-cart emails on a plan that includes cart recovery.
  • A creator sells a mini course to newsletter subscribers.

What it costs

What we like

  • Unlimited monthly sends on all paid plans.
  • Webinars and a course creator built in (Creator plan).

  • Send-time tools: Perfect Timing and Time Travel.

What to watch for

  • Starter allows only 1 custom automation workflow.

Our take

GetResponse packs a lot into one tool, especially on Creator, with webinars and courses beside email. Starter's single workflow is limiting. If you want simple, low-cost email, compare MailerLite.
