We researched Horizon Fitness's official pricing, terms, product pages, help pages and outside reviews. We haven't used Horizon Fitness ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.

Who it’s best for

  • People who want a solid folding treadmill for home.
  • Runners who already use apps like Zwift or Peloton and don't want another subscription.
  • Users up to 325 lb.

Who should skip it

  • Probably not the best fit if you want built-in classes on a big screen, which NordicTrack offers with iFIT.

How it works day to day

This part draws on Horizon Fitness’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 29, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Horizon Fitness ourselves.

You start a workout from the console or pair a phone or tablet app over Bluetooth, then adjust speed and incline with quick keys.

What it costs

Prices checked October 29, 2026, from Horizon Fitness’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • 7.0 AT treadmill: $1,099 on sale as of October 29, 2026 (regular $2,100). Free shipping was offered for a limited time ending November 1.
  • 20 x 60 inch deck, 0.5 to 12 mph, 0 to 15% incline, 325 lb maximum user, folding.
  • Works with apps like Peloton, Zwift and Kinomap over Bluetooth; no built-in subscription required.
  • Warranty: lifetime frame and motor, 3 years parts, 1 year labor.
  • 30-day guarantee: refund of the product price minus freight both ways, and a handling fee of up to 20% unless returned like new in original packaging.

What we like

  • No subscription needed; connect your own apps over Bluetooth.
  • Lifetime frame and motor warranty.
  • Strong specs for the sale price (12 mph, 15% incline).
  • A 30-day guarantee from delivery.

What to watch for

  • Trustpilot showed 3.7 out of 5 from about 4,100 reviews as of October 29, 2026, with complaints about delivery delays, damage and support.
  • Returns cost you freight both ways and up to a 20% handling fee.
  • Delivery can take several weeks (1 to 3 days to ship plus 10 to 15 days in transit, per its policies).

The fine print

  • Using the treadmill in a garage voids the warranty; it is for in-home use only.
  • It should not be plugged into a GFCI outlet.
  • Curbside delivery is standard; the customer handles disassembly for returns.

The main alternative: NordicTrack

Its Trustpilot score was 2.9 out of 5 from about 2,000 reviews.

What it costs: T Series 10 $1,499; iFIT $39/mo, checked October 29, 2026

Pick Horizon FitnessReviewed by Vetteroo if you…

  • want a treadmill without a subscription.
  • already use Zwift, Peloton or Kinomap.
  • want a long frame and motor warranty.

Pick NordicTrack if you…

  • want built-in trainer-led classes.
  • are fine paying for a subscription.

Our take

Horizon's 7.0 AT is a well-specced folding treadmill that works with apps you may already use, with no required subscription and a lifetime frame and motor warranty. Delivery complaints and costly returns are real downsides. Compare NordicTrack if you want built-in classes.
