Who it’s best for
- Small businesses that want a website chatbot without writing code.
- Marketers capturing leads through chat-style forms.
- Teams that want WhatsApp automation from the same builder.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you mainly want a live-chat inbox with an AI agent for an online store, where Tidio is built for that.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Landbot’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 29, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Landbot ourselves.
Day to day, you build or edit a bot on a visual canvas, publish it to your site, and review chats and leads in the inbox.
Key features in use
- Drag-and-drop flow builder.
- AI chat blocks on paid plans.
- Lead capture forms in chat.
- Human handoff to a live agent.
- WhatsApp bots on WhatsApp plans.

What it costs
Prices checked October 29, 2026, from Landbot’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Sandbox (free): 100 chats a month, 1 seat.
- Starter: $36 a month billed yearly, or $45 billed monthly. 500 chats and 100 AI chats a month, 2 seats.
- Professional: $88 a month billed yearly, or $110 billed monthly. 2,500 chats and 300 AI chats a month, 3 seats, no Landbot branding, live chat support.
- Business: custom pricing.
- Extra chats cost $0.05 each and extra AI chats $0.10 each, per the pricing page.
- WhatsApp bots are sold as separate plans; Landbot says its WhatsApp Pro plan starts at €200 a month with 2,500 chats.
What we like
- Visual drag-and-drop bot builder.
- Free plan to build and test a bot.
- AI chats included on paid plans.
- Based in the EU and says it follows GDPR.
What to watch for
- Trustpilot showed 2.1 out of 5 from only 10 reviews as of October 29, 2026, too few to judge much.
- Chat limits are low on Starter; busy sites pay per extra chat.
- WhatsApp plans are priced separately and cost far more than web plans.
The fine print
- Paying monthly costs about 25% more than paying yearly.
- Landbot branding is removed only on Professional and up.
- WhatsApp message fees from Meta can apply on top of the plan.

Our take
Landbot is a flexible no-code builder for chat flows and lead capture, with a usable free plan. Its outside review count is tiny, and chat limits and WhatsApp pricing add up. If you mainly want live chat with an AI agent, compare Tidio.
