We researched Mailshake's official pricing and terms, plus independent reviews and customer feedback. We haven't used Mailshake ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- Small sales teams and founders who want simple cold email sequences.
- Teams that want a phone dialer in the same tool.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit for agencies that need many mailboxes per person.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Mailshake’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Mailshake ourselves.
Mailshake keeps cold outreach simple: you connect a mailbox, upload a list (or find contacts with its Data Finder), write a sequence of emails with follow-ups, and launch. Replies are sorted by Lead Catcher, which flags interested responses so you can pick them up. On the top plan you can also call prospects from the browser with its power dialer, alongside email and social tasks.
Key features in use
- Email sequences with automatic follow-ups and A/B testing.
- Lead Catcher, which collects and flags replies and tasks that need a human.
- A browser-based power dialer with call scripts and recordings (Sales Engagement plan).
- Data Finder for looking up B2B contacts by role, company or location and adding them straight to a campaign.
Setup and learning curve
Ease of learning is the most common theme in Mailshake reviews (noted above). Most teams can connect a mailbox and send a first campaign the same day; Mailshake's help center covers each step.
Integrations
Mailshake has native two-way integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive, and its help center lists which events (such as replies and campaign activity) sync to your CRM. Zapier connects it to other apps.
Support
Mailshake runs a help center with setup and troubleshooting articles, plus customer-success resources.
Real-world use cases
- A founder sends a few hundred personalized cold emails a week with follow-ups.
- A small sales team combines email sequences with phone calls from one tool.
- A team logs every reply in HubSpot or Salesforce automatically.
What it costs
Prices checked October 25, 2026, from Mailshake’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Starter: $29 per user a month, or $25 billed yearly. 1 mailbox per user.
- Email Outreach: $49 per user a month, or $45 billed yearly. 2 mailboxes per user.
- Sales Engagement: $99 per user a month, or $85 billed yearly. Up to 5 mailboxes, a power dialer and 2,500 Data Finder credits.
What we like
- Easy to learn, a common theme in reviews.
- G2 showed 4.7 out of 5 from about 376 reviews as of October 25, 2026.
- A built-in dialer on the top plan.
What to watch for
- Few mailboxes per user, so you buy more seats to send from more inboxes.
- Some reviewers mention bugs and limited reporting.
The fine print
- Pricing is per user; each user comes with a fixed number of mailboxes.
The main alternative: Lemlist
lemlist is a cold outreach tool known for personalized images and videos, plus LinkedIn steps alongside email. Per-user pricing adds up for bigger teams.
What it costs: $69/mo, or $55/mo billed yearly (Email), checked October 26, 2026

Our take
Mailshake is a straightforward cold email tool that's easy to pick up. Its per-user mailbox limits make it pricier for high-volume senders. lemlist is the closer match if you want heavy personalization.
