We researched Make's official pricing, plan terms, product pages and help documentation. We haven't used Make ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- People who want to automate work between apps with a visual builder.
- Teams that need branching logic, filters and data transformation.
- Agencies and operations teams building many workflows.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you want the simplest two-step automations only.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Make’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Make ourselves.
Day to day, you build scenarios on a visual canvas: a trigger, then modules that read, change and send data, with routers and filters for different paths. You check run history and fix errors from the same screen.
Key features in use
- Visual scenario builder.
- Routers, filters and error handlers.
- AI apps, AI agents and the Maia assistant.
- Scheduling down to the minute (Core and up).
- Make API and MCP server.
Setup and learning curve
Sign up free, pick a template or start a blank scenario, connect your apps and run a test. Most simple scenarios take minutes; complex ones take planning.
Integrations
Make connects with 3,500+ apps and can call any public API through HTTP and custom apps.
Support
Make has a help center, community and customer support, with 24/7 support on Enterprise.
Real-world use cases
- A shop copies new orders into a Google Sheet and Slack.
- An agency routes leads to different CRMs by form answer.
- A team summarizes emails with AI and files them.
What it costs
Prices checked October 26, 2026, from Make’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Free: $0. 1,000 credits a month, 15-minute minimum interval between runs.
- Core: from $9 a month, starting at 10,000 credits a month. Unlimited active scenarios, scheduling down to the minute, Make API access.
- Pro: from $16 a month, starting at 10,000 credits. Priority execution, custom variables, full-text log search.
- Teams: from $29 a month, starting at 10,000 credits. Teams and roles, shared scenario templates.
- Enterprise: custom. The starting prices come from Make's own plan comparison page; the main pricing page sets the price with a credit slider. Annual payment costs less than monthly.
What we like
- Visual builder that shows every step of a scenario.
- Free plan with 1,000 credits a month.
- Routers and filters for complex logic; routers don't use credits.
- 3,500+ apps plus AI apps and agents.
- Cancel anytime; you drop to the Free plan.
What to watch for
- Credits can run out fast on busy scenarios.
- More to learn than simpler tools.
- Unused credits expire at the end of the term.
The fine print
- Credits are the billing unit; most actions use 1 credit, some AI features use more.
- If you run out of credits, scenarios stop until you add more.
- Downgrades stop scenarios that use higher-plan features.
