What it costs

Prices checked October 30, 2026, from Mikado Diamonds’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • Loose diamonds from about $370; a 1.03 ct D/FL round lab-grown diamond at $820; 1.00 ct G/SI2 natural rounds about $2,480 to $2,950; a 1.50 ct E/VS2 natural round at $10,930; the top of the catalog runs to about $77,700 (official store, checked October 30, 2026).
  • A sitewide sale on lab-grown diamonds and settings was running, with the discount applied at checkout.

What we like

  • Large loose diamond catalog with both natural and lab-grown stones.
  • Lifetime warranty page and jewelry insurance info on the site.
  • Grading reports come with certified stones.
  • Financing options listed.

What to watch for

  • Trustpilot showed 3.7 out of 5 from 1 review (very few reviews) as of October 30, 2026.
  • Custom-made rings and men's wedding bands cannot be returned.
  • Orders on layaway or Affirm financing carry a 10% restocking fee on return.
  • The return window counts from the ship date, not delivery.

The fine print

  • Returns must be unworn, in original condition, with the grading report.
  • No returns after 30 days from shipping.
  • Lost or damaged jewelry in your possession is not covered; get insurance.

The main alternative: Brilliant Earth

Brilliant Earth is a large, well-known online jeweler with showrooms where you can see rings in person.

What it costs: 1-ct lab-grown solitaire from about $1,590, checked October 29, 2026

Pick Mikado DiamondsChecked by Vetteroo if you…

Pick Brilliant Earth if you…

  • want to visit a showroom.
  • want a bigger brand.
  • want more design choices.

Our take

Mikado Diamonds has a large natural and lab-grown diamond catalog at competitive prices, but outside reviews are almost nonexistent and custom rings cannot be returned, so lock in the details before you order.
