Who it’s best for
- Travelers who fly several times a year without airline lounge status.
- People with long layovers who want a quieter place to wait.
- Frequent international travelers, since the network spans many countries.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you fly only once or twice a year, where a pay-per-pass plan such as DragonPass Solo Travel can cost less.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Priority Pass’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 29, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Priority Pass ourselves.
Day to day, you check the app for lounges at your airport, show your digital card at the desk, and are let in if there is space.
Key features in use
- Digital membership card in the app.
- Lounge finder with opening hours and rules.
- Some airport restaurant and spa experiences.
- Visit history and charges in your account.
Setup and learning curve
You choose a plan, pay the yearly fee, and download the app to get your digital card.
Integrations
There are no software integrations; many credit cards bundle a membership.
Support
Help center and contact options on the website and in the app.
Real-world use cases
- A consultant waits out a five-hour layover in a lounge.
- A couple on a long-haul trip uses Prestige for unlimited member visits.
- A remote worker gets Wi-Fi and a quiet seat before an early flight.
What it costs
Prices checked October 29, 2026, from Priority Pass’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Standard: $99 a year. Every member visit costs $35, and every guest visit costs $35.
- Standard Plus: $329 a year with 10 free member visits, then $35 a visit. Guests are $35 each.
- Prestige: $469 a year with unlimited member visits. Guests are $35 each.
- Prices shown in US dollars on the official join page (checked October 29, 2026).
- Many travel credit cards include a Priority Pass membership, often with different visit and guest rules.
What we like
- A large global lounge network in one membership.
- Three plans, from pay-per-visit to unlimited member visits.
- Some locations also offer restaurant or spa experiences.
- Often included with premium travel credit cards, so check before you buy.
What to watch for
- Trustpilot showed 2.6 out of 5 from 28,489 reviews as of October 29, 2026; common complaints are crowded lounges and being turned away.
- Entry is subject to space, so a membership does not guarantee a seat.
- Guests cost $35 each on every plan.
The fine print
- Lounge access is subject to capacity at each lounge.
- On Standard, the $99 fee buys access only; every visit costs $35 more.
- Card-issued memberships can have different rules from paid ones.
The main alternative: DragonPass
What it costs: Solo Travel $79/yr (2 passes), checked October 29, 2026
Pick Priority PassReviewed by Vetteroo if you…
- fly often enough to use the lounges.
- travel through big international hubs.
- want unlimited visits on Prestige.
Pick DragonPass if you…
- fly only a few times a year.
- want passes usable for airport dining or Fast Track.
Our take
Priority Pass is the best-known lounge membership, with plans for light and heavy travelers. Its outside rating is low, mostly over crowding and refused entry, and Standard visits cost extra. Check whether a card you already hold includes it, and compare DragonPass if you fly rarely.
