Who it’s best for
- Single WordPress sites where page speed matters.
- People who want an enterprise-grade CDN and firewall built in without setting it up.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you need email hosting or non-WordPress sites.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Rocket.net’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Rocket.net ourselves.
Rocket.net is managed hosting for WordPress only. Each site is automatically put behind a Cloudflare Enterprise CDN and web application firewall (WAF), so speed and security features are on from day one without plugins or setup. You manage sites, staging copies and backups from Rocket.net's own control panel, and its team handles the server side.
Key features in use
- Cloudflare Enterprise CDN and firewall built in and switched on for every site.
- One-click staging sites for testing changes before they go live.
- Free migrations from your current host.
- A unified control panel for every site on your account.
Setup and learning curve
Moving an existing site is the main setup step, and Rocket.net does migrations for free. Because the CDN and firewall are already configured, there's little else to tune.
Integrations
As a WordPress host, Rocket.net works with standard WordPress plugins and themes. Its CDN and firewall come from Cloudflare, built into the service.
Support
Rocket.net advertises 24/7 WordPress support, and its help center explains features such as how its CDN works.
Real-world use cases
- An online store or lead-generation site where page speed affects sales.
- A site owner who wants enterprise-level CDN and firewall protection without setting up Cloudflare.
- A blog with traffic spikes, where unmetered visitors avoid surprise visit charges.
What it costs
Prices checked October 25, 2026, from Rocket.net’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

What we like
- Visitors aren't metered.
- Rocket.net says it never raises prices at renewal.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Trustpilot showed 4.7 out of 5 from about 270 reviews as of October 25, 2026.
What to watch for
- A smaller, younger company than Kinsta or WP Engine. It was bought by Hosting.com in August 2025.
- Some 2026 reviews mention downtime.
- WordPress only, with no email hosting.
The fine print
- Trustpilot notes the company hasn't recently invited reviews.
The main alternative: Kinsta
Kinsta is a premium managed WordPress host. It offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Extra visits are billed as overages.
What it costs: $35/mo or $30/mo billed yearly, first month $0, checked October 24, 2026
Pick Rocket.net if you…
- want fast single-site hosting at a lower price than Kinsta.
- want no visitor limits.
Pick Kinsta if you…
- want a larger, longer-established host with 24/7 support in several languages.
- prefer a bigger company's track record.
Our take
Rocket.net is a fast, fairly priced managed WordPress host, especially for single sites. It's smaller and recently changed owners, so keep backups. Kinsta costs a bit more and is better established.
