We researched Sembly's official pricing and plan comparison, and terms, plus two independent reviews from October 2026. We haven't used Sembly ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.

Multilingual teams, since Sembly transcribes 45+ languages, including mixed-language meetings.

Who should skip it

Probably not the best fit if you only want free transcripts. Free plans elsewhere cover that.

How it works day to day

This part draws on Sembly’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 28, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Sembly ourselves.

Day to day, Sembly joins your calendar meetings, records and transcribes them, writes notes and tasks, and lets you turn a client's meetings into a branded report, proposal or deck.

Free trial: $0. 1 meeting hour a month, 750 credits, 2 months of history, up to 5 clients.
Basic: $10 a month billed annually. 1 user, unlimited meeting capture, 2,500 credits a month, 25 clients, 50 brand packages, 1 year of history.
Pro: $20 per user a month billed annually. Up to 40 users, 3,000 credits per user, multi-meeting AI chat, custom note templates, standard video, automations, webhooks and MCP access, 2 years of history.
MAX: $30 per user a month billed annually, minimum 3 users. HD video, unlimited history, custom SSO, audit log, HIPAA compliance and priority support.
Enterprise: custom pricing, minimum 10 users.

What to watch for

The free trial covers just 1 meeting hour a month, so plan to pay for Basic if you want a real test.
AI work runs on monthly credits. An independent review notes unused credits expire at month end on Basic and Pro.
Multi-meeting AI chat, custom templates and video capture start on Pro.
HIPAA, SSO and the audit log need MAX, which has a 3-user minimum.

The fine print

Prices shown are billed annually. Monthly billing costs more (one independent review lists $17, $29 and $39 a month).
Under Sembly's terms, a cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle, and the current billing cycle isn't refunded.
Basic is one user only. Teams need Pro or above.
Extra credits can be bought on paid plans.

Our take

Sembly stands out among meeting notetakers because it turns meetings into branded client deliverables, not just notes. That's a real time-saver for consultants and agencies. Basic is fairly priced for a solo user, but the credit system and the thin free trial mean you should budget to pay from the start. If you mainly want free, searchable transcripts, Fireflies.ai is the easier choice.
