We researched Tailor Brands's official pricing and terms, plus independent reviews and customer feedback. We haven't used Tailor Brands ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- New owners who want an LLC plus a logo, website and branding tools from one company.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you only need the LLC filed. Cheaper, simpler options exist.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Tailor Brands’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Tailor Brands ourselves.
Tailor Brands walks you through forming an LLC by asking for your business details, then prepares and files the state paperwork. After formation, its dashboard (with an AI assistant it calls Navi) keeps track of filings, annual reports and renewal deadlines. The same account holds its branding tools, so you can design a logo and build a website without switching companies.
Key features in use
- Guided LLC formation and filing, with an optional registered agent.
- Compliance tracking for annual reports and deadlines in the dashboard.
- An AI logo maker that generates customizable logos from your business information and style choices.
- A website builder that starts from templates or guided questions.
- Business bank accounts offered through partner banks, not Tailor Brands itself.
Setup and learning curve
Formation is a step-by-step questionnaire, so no legal knowledge is needed to complete it. The branding side is where you'll spend more time, choosing and editing a logo and building out the site.
Integrations
Tailor Brands is an all-in-one service rather than a tool that plugs into others; its banking option runs through partner banks.
Support
Tailor Brands offers support by chat and phone, listed on its website.
Real-world use cases
- A first-time owner launching a small business wants the LLC, logo and website from one place.
- Someone who wants reminders about annual reports after formation.
- A side-hustler who wants a basic brand identity at the same time as the LLC.
What it costs
Prices checked October 25, 2026, from Tailor Brands’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- LLC Lite: $0 plus state fees (about 14 business days).
- Essential: $199 a year plus state fees. Elite: $249 a year plus state fees.
- Registered agent: $199 a year add-on. EIN filing: $99 (the IRS gives EINs free).
What we like
- Bundles LLC formation with logo and branding tools.
- A free starting option (LLC Lite, plus state fees).
What to watch for
- Reviews report aggressive upsells, unclear checkout and charges for declined services.
- Some report auto-renewal and refund problems.
- Its registered agent add-on costs more than Northwest's renewal price.
The fine print
- Paid plans are yearly subscriptions; check what renews.
- You can get an EIN free from the IRS yourself.
The main alternative: ZenBusiness
What it costs: $0 + state fees (Starter); Pro $199/yr, checked October 26, 2026

Pick Tailor Brands if you…
- want branding and a website along with your LLC.
- will read every checkout screen and turn off add-ons you don't need.
Pick ZenBusiness if you…
- want a free formation plan focused on compliance help, not branding.
- want reminders and help with yearly filings.
Our take
Tailor Brands only makes sense if you want its branding tools too. Read the checkout carefully, skip the paid EIN, and watch for renewals. If you just need the LLC, ZenBusiness or Northwest is simpler.
