How it works day to day
This part draws on Teachable’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Teachable ourselves.
You build courses from lessons (video, text, quizzes), set a price and sales page, and students buy through Teachable's checkout. Day to day you check sales, answer students and run promotions with coupons or upsells. Students learn on the web or the mobile apps.
Key features in use
- Course builder with drip scheduling.
- Checkout with Buy Now, Pay Later options and tax-inclusive pricing.
- Coupons, order bumps and one-click upsells.
- Abandoned-cart emails and student referral links.
- Affiliate program tools (Builder and up).
Setup and learning curve
Teachable says you can start for free with a trial and build your first product with its AI course tools. Uploading videos and setting a price is quick; designing a full school with several products takes longer.
Integrations
Teachable offers Zapier, webhooks and an API, plus built-in email marketing.
Support
Email support on all plans, real-time support from Builder up, Teachable University (teachable:u) and live events. Custom adds a dedicated success manager.
Real-world use cases
- A language teacher sells a video course with weekly drip lessons.
- A fitness coach sells coaching sessions plus a digital download.
- A creator adds an order bump at checkout for a workbook.
