What it costs
Prices checked October 28, 2026, from Tiller’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- $99 a year after a 30-day free trial. Sales tax may apply.
- Tiller says your card isn't charged until the trial ends.
- After the first charge, Tiller offers a full refund for another 30 days, so up to 60 days risk-free in total.
- Works with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
What we like
- Automatic daily bank feeds into Google Sheets or Excel.
- Free templates you can change however you like.
- Long risk-free window: 30-day trial plus a 30-day refund.
- One flat yearly price.
What to watch for
- Trustpilot had no reviews for Tiller as of October 28, 2026, so we couldn't gauge outside sentiment there.
- You need to be comfortable with spreadsheets.
- No polished phone app like the app-based budgeting tools.
The fine print
- Like any tool that pulls in bank data, Tiller needs access to your financial accounts through a bank-connection service; read its security page before linking.
- The trial needs a card; you're charged $99 when the 30 days end unless you cancel.
- Sales tax may be added to the yearly price.

Our take
Tiller is the best fit for people who want their budget in a spreadsheet but don't want to type in transactions. It takes some setup, and it has no Trustpilot track record yet. If you want a finished app instead, compare Monarch.
