We researched Typeform's official pricing, plan terms, product pages and help documentation. We haven't used Typeform ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- Marketers who want forms and surveys that feel like a conversation.
- Small businesses collecting leads, feedback or bookings.
- Teams that want forms to feed HubSpot, Salesforce or Google Sheets.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you need many responses on a small budget.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Typeform’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Typeform ourselves.
Day to day, you build forms from templates or with AI help, add logic so questions change based on answers, share a link or embed the form, and review responses in Typeform or in connected apps.
Key features in use
- One-question-at-a-time forms and surveys.
- Logic jumps, hidden fields and calculations.
- Quizzes and lead-qualification scoring.
- Drop-off analysis (Business).
- Templates and AI form creation.
Setup and learning curve
Sign up free, choose a template, edit the questions and design, then share or embed. Connect an integration if you want responses to flow into other tools.
Integrations
Typeform connects with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets and Slack, and 500+ apps via Zapier.
Support
Typeform has a help center, with priority support on Business.
Real-world use cases
- A marketer runs a lead-qualification form that feeds HubSpot.
- A café collects customer feedback.
- A coach uses a quiz to recommend a program.
What it costs
Prices checked October 26, 2026, from Typeform’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Free plan available.
- Basic: $39 a month, or $28 a month billed yearly. 100 responses a month, 1 user.
- Plus: $79 a month, or $56 a month billed yearly. 1,000 responses a month, 3 users, remove Typeform branding.
- Business: $129 a month, or $91 a month billed yearly. 10,000 responses a month, 5 users, drop-off analysis and priority support.
- Growth plans and a Talent plan (from $119 a month) are also offered. Add-ons such as Contacts & Automations cost extra.
What we like
- One question at a time, which can make long forms easier to finish.
- Logic, hidden fields and scoring for quizzes and lead qualification.
- Integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets and Slack, plus 500+ apps via Zapier.
- Free plan to try it.
- You keep your forms and responses if you cancel.
What to watch for
- Response limits are low on Basic (100 a month).
- Removing branding starts on Plus.
- Gets expensive as response volume grows.
The fine print
- The plan cards and the plan comparison table on the pricing page showed different numbers when we checked; we used the plan cards. Check the page before you buy.
- Yearly prices are billed up front.
- Responses above your limit need a higher plan or add-on.
The main alternative: Jotform
Jotform is the closest alternative. It has a free plan, more forms and responses for the money on paid plans, and many templates, payment fields and e-signatures.
What it costs: Free plan; Bronze $34/mo billed annually, checked October 26, 2026
Pick Typeform if you…
- want forms people enjoy filling out.
- need forms connected to your CRM.
- collect a moderate number of responses each month.
Pick Jotform if you…
- need many forms or high response volume for less.
- want payment and signature fields in traditional forms.
Our take
Typeform is the pick for polished, conversational forms and surveys with strong integrations. Response limits make it costly at volume. If you need lots of forms and responses for less, compare Jotform.
