What it costs

Prices checked October 31, 2026, from Zoosk’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

  • Free account to build a profile and browse; a Zoosk subscription unlocks messaging. US app-store listings show about $29.99–$34.99 for one month, $59.99 for 3 months and $74.99 for 6 months; checkout shows the exact total (checked October 30, 2026).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off before the billing date. Its terms (Black Cap) say charges are non-refundable except as stated or required by law.

What we like

  • Free account to try it.
  • Cheaper on 3- and 6-month plans.
  • Photo verification option.
  • The App Store showed 4.16 out of 5 from 105,347 ratings as of October 30, 2026.

What to watch for

  • Trustpilot shows 1.6 from 2,424 reviews.
  • Charges are mostly non-refundable.
  • Auto-renews.
  • Its former operator, Spark Networks, entered insolvency proceedings in Germany in January 2026; Black Cap Holdings now runs Zoosk, per WhichDating.

The fine print

  • You must be 18 or older to join.
  • Turn off auto-renewal before the billing date.
  • Never send money, gift cards or crypto to anyone you meet online.

Pick Zoosk if you…

  • want lower prices.
  • want monthly plans.
  • like browsing.

Pick eharmony if you…

  • want a serious focus.
  • want guided matching.
  • want a longer track record with one owner.

Our take

Zoosk is cheap to try and easy to use, but outside reviews are very poor and payments are mostly non-refundable, so start on the free account and pay for the shortest plan first.
