Best Managed WordPress Hosting
Every company here was researched from its own pricing pages and terms. No paid rankings.
We check it out so you don’t have to.
How we researched this page: we read each company’s own pricing pages and terms, independent tests, and customer reviews. We did not use these products ourselves. Prices change often, so each one shows the date we checked it.
The short version
For one important WordPress site with everything included, look at Kinsta, WP Engine or Rocket.net. If you run several sites and want the lowest bill, look at Cloudways. If budget matters most and you can prepay, look at Hostinger or SiteGround, and watch the renewal price.

Kinsta
Who it fits: One business WordPress site where you want CDN, backups and migrations in one price, and no server decisions.
What it costs (checked October 24, 2026): Single 20GB $35/mo, or $30/mo billed yearly, with the first month $0. Extra sites cost $30/mo each. Agency plans start at $340/mo.
Honest downsides: You pay per site, so several small sites get expensive fast. It costs more than Cloudways or Hostinger for the same traffic.

WP Engine
Who it fits: Established businesses and agencies that want a long-running, well-known WordPress host with staging, backups and support.
What it costs (checked October 24, 2026): Essential from $28/mo billed yearly ($336 today). Business from $400/mo billed yearly. Enterprise is custom. Extra visits on the Essential-tier plans are billed at $2 per 1,000 visits a month, monthly even on yearly plans (WP Engine support, checked October 26, 2026).
Honest downsides: Add-ons (managed firewall, automatic plugin updates, performance tools) cost extra on Essential. WP Engine was in a public legal dispute with Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, in 2024–25, which cut off some WordPress.org access for its customers for a time.

Cloudways
Who it fits: Freelancers and agencies running several sites on one server who want hourly billing and a choice of cloud.
What it costs (checked October 24, 2026): Flexible on DigitalOcean from $11/mo ($0.0357/hour). Autonomous from $99/mo. Add-ons cost extra.
Honest downsides: It’s more technical than beginner hosting, and you choose and manage the server size yourself. No money-back guarantee; the 3-day trial is the only way to try it. Advanced support costs extra ($100/mo list price).

Rocket.net
Who it fits: Single sites where page speed matters, with Cloudflare Enterprise built in.

Honest downsides: A smaller, younger company than Kinsta or WP Engine. Each plan has visit and storage limits, so check them against your traffic.

Pressable
Who it fits: People who want managed hosting from the company behind WordPress.com, with Jetpack included.

Honest downsides: Check the visit limits on the lower plans. It’s owned by Automattic, the other side of the WP Engine dispute, which some readers care about.

SiteGround
Who it fits: Small sites and first-time owners who want well-reviewed support and are fine with a big jump at renewal.
What it costs (checked October 24, 2026 on SiteGround’s international page; US prices may differ): StartUp $2.99/mo intro, then $17.99/mo. GrowBig $4.99, then $29.99. GoGeek $7.99, then $44.99. Prepaid for 12 months.
Honest downsides: Renewal prices are roughly six times the intro price. It’s shared hosting tuned for WordPress, not isolated servers.

Hostinger
Who it fits: Beginners and side projects on the tightest budget.
What it costs (checked October 24, 2026): Premium $2.49/mo only on a 48-month prepay ($119.52), then $10.99/mo. Business $3.49/mo ($167.52 for 48 months), then $16.99/mo.
Honest downsides: The headline price needs a 4-year prepay. It’s shared hosting, so it’s not a fit for high-traffic or business-critical sites.
