We researched Crypto.com's official pricing, plan terms, product pages, help documentation and Trustpilot profile. We haven't used Crypto.com ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.

Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you want an exchange with stronger customer reviews, where Kraken is worth comparing.

- Crypto.com App (US): purchases can have zero trading fees with a Level Up membership, but a spread and other transaction fees may still apply. Card purchases add card fees.
- Crypto.com Exchange spot trading: base fees of 0.25% maker and 0.50% taker; holding CRO can cut maker fees to zero and taker fees by 12%.
- Crypto.com Visa Signature credit card (US): no annual fee and 1.5% back in CRO or BTC, with higher tiers at 3.5% to 6%.

What to watch for
- Trustpilot showed 2.0 out of 5 from 9,445 reviews as of October 29, 2026.
- In January 2022, attackers withdrew about $34 million from 483 customer accounts; Crypto.com said it reimbursed the affected customers and tightened two-factor security.
- The app's spread is less visible than a stated fee.
The fine print
- "Zero trading fees" does not mean zero cost; the spread still applies.
- Best Exchange rates depend on holding CRO.
- Higher card reward tiers need more commitment.

Our take
Crypto.com pairs a beginner app with a lower-fee Exchange and a rewards card. Outside reviews are poor, the app's spread hides some of the cost, and it had a 2022 account hack (customers were reimbursed). Compare Kraken before choosing.
