We researched Kinsta's official pricing and terms, plus independent reviews and customer feedback. We haven't used Kinsta ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- One business WordPress site where you want CDN, backups and migrations included.
- People who don't want to make server decisions.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit for many small sites, because you pay per site.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Kinsta’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Kinsta ourselves.
With Kinsta you manage everything in its MyKinsta dashboard: sites, domains, backups, staging copies, caching and performance tools. Kinsta takes daily automatic backups, caches pages at the edge through Cloudflare without extra plugins, and lets you create a staging copy of a site, test a change and push it live. Server choices and maintenance are handled for you.
Key features in use
- Free staging environments with push to live.
- Daily automatic backups, with restore from the dashboard.
- A built-in APM (application performance monitoring) tool that shows slow PHP, database queries and external calls.
- Edge caching and CDN through Cloudflare.
- DevKinsta, a free tool for building WordPress sites on your own computer and deploying to staging.
Setup and learning curve
Kinsta offers unlimited free migrations, done by its team or self-service from another host or a backup file. After that, MyKinsta is designed so you don't need to make server decisions (the audience noted above).
Integrations
Kinsta works with standard WordPress plugins and themes, and offers developer tools including DevKinsta.
Support
Kinsta offers 24/7 support in 8 languages (noted above), plus detailed documentation for every dashboard feature.
Real-world use cases
- A business site that wants backups, staging and CDN handled without a developer.
- A developer who builds locally in DevKinsta and deploys to staging.
- A site with slowdowns that uses the APM tool to find the plugin or query causing it.
What it costs
Prices checked October 25, 2026, from Kinsta’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.

What to watch for
