Who it’s best for

- People who care most about how many listings actually come down.
Who should skip it
- Probably not the best fit if you need custom removals but don't want the top Ultimate plan.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Optery’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Optery ourselves.
Optery scans data broker and people-search sites for your profile, then sends opt-out requests on your behalf. On paid plans it rescans and resubmits removals at least every 30 days, and Optery's privacy agents also review results by hand each month. Its dashboard lists each broker with a status (Pending, In Progress, Removed or Not Found), and an activity history shows progress over time.
Key features in use
- A free exposure scan before you pay.
- Automated opt-outs, rescanned and resubmitted at least every 30 days on paid plans.
- A broker-by-broker dashboard with removal statuses.
- Exposure and removal reports with live screenshots; before-and-after reports about every quarter on Extended and Ultimate.
- Custom removals for sites outside the standard list (Ultimate).
Setup and learning curve
You enter the names, addresses and other details you want removed, verify your account and let the first scan run. After that, Optery works on its own; you check the dashboard or reports when you want an update.
Integrations
Optery is a standalone service. Optery for Business adds an admin console for managing removals for employees and exporting status reports.
Support
Optery runs a help desk and FAQ covering scans, dashboards and removals.
Real-world use cases
- Someone who wants to see what's out there before paying for removals.

- A company protecting its staff's home addresses with Optery for Business.
