We researched Privacy Bee's official pricing, plan terms, product pages and help documentation. We haven't used Privacy Bee ourselves, so this is a research-based review, not a hands-on test.
Who it’s best for
- People who want the widest coverage, beyond people-search sites.
- People who want custom takedowns from blogs, forums or other sites (Pro and up).
- People at higher risk, such as executives or anyone facing harassment (Signature).
Who should skip it
- Probably more than you need if you only want the main people-search sites covered.
How it works day to day
This part draws on Privacy Bee’s own product pages, help center and documentation, read October 26, 2026 (listed under Sources). We haven’t used Privacy Bee ourselves.
After you sign up and add your details (names, addresses, phone numbers and emails), Privacy Bee scans its broker network and starts removals automatically. You get monthly report emails and can log in to see progress. It keeps monitoring, because Privacy Bee says removed listings often reappear.
Key features in use
- Automated scanning and removal across people-search sites (all plans) and wider data brokers (Pro and up).
- Custom-site takedowns for exposures on blogs, forums and other sites (Pro and up).
- Search engine results monitoring and data breach monitoring.
- Private email proxy for data brokers, and mass-marketing opt-outs.
- Dedicated analysts and 24/7 critical-exposure response on Signature.
Setup and learning curve
Setup is filling in your profile. You can protect unlimited name variations, addresses, phone numbers and emails. Privacy Bee may ask for a few extra details, and the optional limited power of attorney helps with some takedowns.
Integrations
There's nothing to connect; it works from the details you give it. Privacy Bee also offers mobile apps and a business version.
Support
Privacy Bee describes its timeline as quick wins in 1 to 3 days, hand-submitted removals in 10 to 45 days, and full rescans after that. Signature adds open one-to-one communication with dedicated analysts.
Real-world use cases
- Someone who moved house removes old and new addresses from people-search sites.
- A person being harassed online uses Signature for fast, complex takedowns.
- A family uses a multi-person plan for the same coverage across everyone.
What it costs
Prices checked October 26, 2026, from Privacy Bee’s own pricing page unless noted. Prices change often, so check the official page before you buy.
- Essentials: about $8 a month billed yearly. Removal from 608 people-search sites (453 sites plus 155 affiliates), mostly automated.
- Pro: about $16 a month billed yearly. Covers 1,438 data brokers plus custom-site takedowns, with human analysts.
- Signature: about $67 a month billed yearly. White-glove, expedited service by U.S.-based analysts for people at high risk.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on Essentials and Pro (not Signature). Small multi-person and multi-year discounts.
What we like
- Pro covers 1,438 data brokers, including marketing lists, background checks and data enrichment companies.
- Custom-site takedowns on Pro and Signature.
- Extras like search engine monitoring, breach monitoring and a "blur my house" request on maps.
- A free scan shows where your data appears before you pay.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on Essentials and Pro.
What to watch for
- Essentials covers people-search sites only, not the wider broker list.
- Results take time: Privacy Bee says some brokers take weeks or months to respond.
- Public records like property tax or arrest records often can't be removed.
- Signature is expensive and not covered by the money-back guarantee.
The fine print
- Prices are approximate monthly figures when billed yearly.
- You can optionally sign a limited power of attorney, which Privacy Bee says raises takedown success rates.
- Not a reputation management service: bad reviews or press can't be removed unless they expose personal details.
The main alternative: DeleteMe
DeleteMe is a long-running data removal service with human privacy experts, regular reports and phone support. It suits people who want to hand off the job to a well-known company.
What it costs: $129/yr for 1 person (checked October 22, 2026); $349 for 2 people for 2 years (checked October 24, 2026)
Pick Privacy Bee if you…
- want the broadest removal coverage, including custom sites.
- want an option with human analysts for complex cases.
Pick DeleteMe if you…
- want a hands-off service with regular reports and phone support.
- mainly care about the big people-search sites.
Our take
Privacy Bee stands out for breadth: Pro covers far more data brokers than people-search-only plans and adds custom takedowns. Expect results to build over weeks and months, not days. If you want a simpler, report-driven service, compare DeleteMe.
